St. Louis – Everything is back to normal at Lambert Airport in St. Louis after a brief evacuation for some passengers awaiting flights.
Smoke from a restaurant in Concourse A caused the evacuation that began about 2:20 p.m. Wednesday. Everyone was allowed to return about 25 minutes later.
Airport spokesman Jeff Lea says passengers near Gate A-7 were evacuated onto the tarmac after a smoke alarm was triggered.
The smoke was caused by a ventilation problem in the restaurant.
