St. Louis, Mo – The Bosnian president is in St. Louis to help celebrate the Bosnian Heritage Festival.
President Zeljko Komsic arrived Thursday. He'll speak to the World Affairs Council of St. Louis and help celebrate the city's large Bosnian population, which is estimated at 50,000 people.
Komsic was welcomed by Secretary of State Robin Carnahan, who worked in Bosnia with the National Democratic Institute, where she helped draft voting laws, train new political leaders and monitor elections during the country's early post-Communist days.
