St. Louis, MO – All of I-64 will shut down at 10:00 tonight (Friday) between Skinker and Hanley Road, so crews can remove three bridges as part of the big I-64 reconstruction project.
Drivers traveling east will have to exit at Hanley, go up to Clayton, and take east back to I-64. Westbound traffic will exit at Skinker, take that north to Forest Park Parkway, then take that west to I-170.

Crews will be removing bridges that take Bellevue, Boland Place, and Highland Terrace over I-64, though only Bellevue has ramps to and from the highway.
The bridges will not be imploded, like the Tamm Avenue overpass was a few months ago. Rather, crews will take the bridges down piece by piece.
I-64 should reopen by rush hour Monday morning.
