Edwardsville, Ill. – A student at SIU-Edwardsville who's accused of threatening a Virginia Tech-like rampage wants his bond lowered.
Olutosin Oduwole is jailed on $1 million bond.
Authorities contend they found a note in his car threatening a rampage similar to the one at Virginia Tech if he wasn't paid $50,000.
Oduwole says in court papers he can live in the St. Louis area with his mother or brother and is no risk of fleeing.
Oduwole has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for another court appearance Friday in Edwardsville.
