St. Louis – Six people, including the groom, face charges after a fight outside of a St. Charles wedding reception this weekend.
It happened Saturday in the parking lot of the Foundry Art Centre.
Police said officers arrived to find the brother of the groom, Michael Williams, lying on the ground with James Skaggs punching him in the face. Officers used a stun gun to subdue Skaggs when he allegedly refused to stop.
Police said that prompted Skaggs' sister to jump on the back of an officer. All three were arrested.
Also among those cited was the groom Richard Farney. A witness told police that Farney was among those who started the fight.
A motive for the fight is unknown.
