St. Louis, MO – The man driving the tow truck that Cardinals' pitcher Josh Hancock crashed into says he's been diagnosed with post traumatic stress syndrome because of the crash.
Hancock died instantly after hitting the truck, which had stopped on I-64 to help a motorist. The 29-year old pitcher was later found to have been drunk at the time.
Jacob Hargrove says he suffers every day when he remembers the event. He remembers seeing Hancock's truck speeding toward him without showing any signs of slowing down.
Hargrove, 33, says he braced himself in the truck but was thrown around like a rag doll.
Hancock's father is suing Hargrove's company for negligence in the accident.
