St. Louis, MO. – The Mullanphy Emigrant Home was built in 1867 to help welcome immigrants to St. Louis
But today wind whistles through the three-story building and bricks lie in piles around the foundation.
The Old North St. Louis Restoration Group bought the building last year in hopes of saving it.
KWMU's Maria Hickey spoke with executive director Sean Thomas about the building and the designation announced Tuesday as one of the state's Most Endangered Historic Places.
