St. Louis – Aldermanic President Jim Shrewsbury moved out of his office at St. Louis City Hall Thursday.
Last month, Shrewsbury lost his re-election bid to fellow Democrat Lewis Reed, who will take over next week.
KWMU's Matt Sepic spoke with the outgoing president as he and his staff were packing up.
Shrewsbury was first elected alderman in 1983, a time he says was difficult for big cities across the country.
