St. Louis, MO. – St. Louis Symphony Orchestra's President and Executive Director is resigning.
Randy Adams has been with the symphony since 2001. He'll remain in the position through June.
Adams is credited with helping the symphony shore up its endowment from 18 million dollars in 2001 to about 134-million dollars today.
He also helped extend the contract of popular conductor David Robertson through 2010.
In a statement Adams said he wanted to leave on a "high note."
