St. Louis – St. Louis attorney John Temporiti was named the new chairman of the Missouri Democratic Party this week.
He takes the reins from former Governor Roger Wilson, who shepherded Democrats to some success in November's election.
It was the first election in 20 years where Democrats increased their numbers in the state House.
KWMU's Maria Hickey spoke with the new chairman.
