St. Louis – A local activist organization is going through some very public troubles.
The national board of ACORN came in and took over in September.
But since then the local office of the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now has been accused of several improprieties.
That includes turning in thousands of possibly fraudulent voter registration cards.
Then recently, the group's newest head organizer resigned.
KWMU's Maria Hickey reports.
