Kansas City, MO – Missouri State Representative Jason Brown is returning to full duty after being home for a month and a half after he was shot while serving in Iraq.
The Kansas City area Republican will leave for Baghdad Friday.
The bullet is still in Brown's lung because doctors told him removing it would cause unnecessary trauma. Brown says he expects to complete his one-year tour in Iraq in March.
He also was re-elected Brown earlier this month.
