St. Louis, MO – A court hearing is scheduled today (Monday) to decide the fate of nearly 70 animals taken last week from a home near Poplar Bluff.

The Humane Society took and is caring for 59 dogs, seven cats and four rabbits. The animals would go up for adoption if the hearing determines they should not be returned.

The Humane Society says nealry 60 dogs and cats were taken from the same property two years ago.
