St. Louis, MO. – Police shot and wounded a student Wednesday when he allegedly pointed a gun at them at Westminster Christian Academy in Creve Coeur.
Police say the shooting happened about 3:45 p.m. in a parking lot at the school on Ladue Road in suburban St. Louis.
Police came to the school after a report that a man was in the parking lot with a gun.
Police say they were negotiating with the man when he pointed the gun in the direction of an officer. Police then fired, and shot him in the leg.
Police are not releasing the man's name, but they say he was taken to a hospital for treatment and his injuries.
