St. Louis, MO – Drivers using the Poplar Street Bridge to get into Illinois are now able to use all lanes again.
MO-DOT opened all eastbound lanes Monday after a summer-long resurfacing project.
Some westbound lanes are still closed off, but those should open by Labor Day. The work has caused rush hour delays that have frustrated motorists; it also caused Madison County Transit to stop taking passengers to downtown St. Louis until further notice because the delays messed up schedules.
