Greenville, SC – Police have arrested a man who they think killed a woman from Ladue who was going to Clemson University. Jerry Buck Inman, 35, was arrested in Tennessee Tuesday night during a traffic stop near his parents' home near Knoxville.
This (Wed) morning, he was in court and agreed to return to South Carolina to face charges.
He is wanted on murder, rape and kidnapping charges in the death of Clemson University junior Tiffany Souers.
She was found with the bikini top around her neck, and her wrists and ankles bound, inside her off-campus apartment last month.
Trevor Souers, Tiffany's brother, says he's relieved to hear of the arrest. He says he hugged his mother, who told him "she felt happy for the first time in a while."
Officials say they found Inman's DNA in Souers' apartment.
Inman was registered as a sex offender in Florida and North Carolina.
