Chicago, Ill. – The Blues ended their season Tuesday night with a 3-2 overtime loss in Chicago. The team had a league-high 15 overtime losses this season and just 57 points, the fewest in the NHL.
It marks the first time the Blues have ever finished as the worst team in the N-H-L since joining the league in 1967.
St. Louis is guaranteed the best odds of netting the top pick in tomorrow's NHL draft lottery. This year's season marked the end of 25 straight seasons with playoff appearances.
