St. Louis, MO – Hundreds of anti-war protesters gathered in Forest Park Sunday to mark three years since the U.S. led an invasion of Iraq.
The event featured 2,300 mock tombstones listing the names of American soldiers and Iraqi civilians killed so far.
One speaker at the three-hour event was Baghdad pharmacist Rashad Zaydan. She's touring the country with a group seeking help for Iraqi orphans and other refugees. She asked the crowd for help in ending the war, which he called an "occupation."
