St. Louis, MO – It's the most expensive construction project ever undertaken in St. Louis. And its set to open officially in about a month.

But it's been nearly eight years since the FAA green-lighted a new $1.01 billion runway for Lambert Airport. And quite a bit has changed in the world of commercial aviation since then.
