Columbia, MO. – Missouri men's basketball coach Quin Snyder has resigned, one day after saying he planned to finish the season.
MU officials say Snyder announced the resignation to his team before practice Friday afternoon. His departure ends a seven-year stint that began with high hopes but ended in disappointment.
The Tigers began the season 10-and-5 but lost six in a row since an overtime win over Big 12 rival Kansas last month.
They're now in eleventh place in the Big 12 with a conference record of 3-and-7.
