St. Louis, MO – Two people were killed and a third critically injured Monday after an accident in north St. Louis.
St. Louis police say a 17-year-old driving a stolen car ran a red light and struck another car carrying three people. The accident happened at Goodfellow & Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.
A woman from the vehicle that was hit died at the scene; another man was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. A second man is in critical condition.
The suspect ran from the scene but was caught by an officer who witnessed the accident.
The two dead are cousins: Rose Vassar, 49, and John Gray, 51. The third person in the car was James Vasser, 39.
