St. Louis, MO – The spread of avian flu into Turkey has world leaders stepping up efforts to slow the transmission of the disease to humans.
There are so far at least 20 known cases in that country, with four people confirmed dead.
In the U.S., experimental flu vaccine trials have been underway for several months.
Now, KWMU has learned that St. Louis University is launching its own investigation into a potential vaccine.
Kevin Lavery reports.
