St. Louis, MO – St. Louis's Fourth of July celebration will be shorter next year, but free concerts on the riverfront will continue next summer.
Officials announced Thursday that Fair St. Louis is merging with the group that put on this year's Live on the Levee concerts.
The change means Fair St. Louis will only be a two-day affair; it will be held on July 1st and 4th.
The Post-Dispatch also reports that the Fair might lose its air show next year, too.
The fair, though, will kick off six weekends of free shows on the Arch grounds. Acts for the concerts will be named later.
