Critics say city's lead program is falling short

St. Louis, MO –

The city of St. Louis is fending off criticism of its lead removal program.

Last month, a local activist group gave the city a "C" average for its effort to eliminate childhood lead poisoning by 2010.

The city maintains it's faithfully following its action plan. But critics say results in one neighborhood pilot project are falling short.
