St. Louis, MO. – More than 16,000 Ameren customers remained without power Tuesday evening after Monday night's strong thunderstorms.
The University of Missouri St. Louis also cancelled night classes Tuesday.
The power outage caused a few minor problems at Lambert Airport.
But spokeswoman Sandy Singer says because it happened overnight, it only affected a few flights.
I know off hand of three flights that were cancelled, and the passengers either were put on different planes or they were told to rebook on a different flight at a later time, she said.
Singer says Lambert's power came back on at 8:30 a.m.
