St. Louis, MO – Eleven current and former Walgreen's workers are suing the company, saying it has a policy of discriminating against minority employees.
The suit includes plaintiffs from Missouri and was filed Monday in East St. Louis, Ill. They want theirs to become a class-action lawsuit.
A Walgreen's spokeswoman wouldn't comment on the suit but says the company has zero tolerance for any kind of discrimination.
The lawsuit, alleging that Walgreen engages in "segregation" of its black workers, seeks unspecified monetary damages.
