St. Louis, MO – Retired Missouri Congressman Dick Gephardt has formed a strategic consulting firm, which will be called Gephardt and Associates. The St. Louis Democrat has even already picked up a high-profile client, St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch.
Gephardt will also join an international law firm as a senior counselor. He'll work with the investment firm of Goldman Sachs and with U.S. Steel, where he is already a member of the board.
Gephardt had previously said he'll be a volunteer chairman for Washington University's new nonpartisan Richard A. Gephardt Institute for Public Service. The institute will host conferences and lectures, coordinate community service programs and develop internship programs in Washington and elsewhere.
