St. Louis – The St. Louis Schools superintendent says he will recall a district high school's yearbook. Creg Williams says it has suggestive contents, gang signs and other questionable material.

Williams also is investigating the teacher who sponsored the yearbook, as well as the high school's principal, Stanley Engram.

The yearbook was distributed at Central High School. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that it contained pictures of students flashing gang signs and other inappropriate material.

Williams says the teacher printed the yearbook without showing it to the principal for approval, then distributed copies of it last week.

Williams says the teacher has been on sick leave since last month. The principal will remain in his school for the rest of the school year.
