Jefferson City, MO – Governor Blunt on Monday named the presiding circuit judge in St. Louis County to be on the Missouri Court of Appeals.
He wants Judge Kenneth Romines to fill the vacancy left by the retiring William Crandall.
The other finalists for the court were Associate Circuit Judge Roy Richter of Montgomery County, and St. Louis attorney Thomas Weaver.
Romines, 62, was graduated from the University of Mississippi law school. He practiced law in St. Louis and Sedalia before becoming a judge in 1986.
