St. Louis, MO – A California businessman named Mark Skorlich has won the E-Bay auction for a one-day contract with the minor-league River City Rascals baseball team.
His $9,050 bid gets him a half-inning in the outfield and a chance to bat during the Rascals' May 20th pre-season game.
Skorlich, 41, is from Santa Monica, Cal. His bid also gets him 20 tickets to the game and a jersey that has the number 00 on the back.
The Rascals play in O'Fallon, Mo.
