St. Louis, MO – A well-known construction executive died Wednesday in a car crash in St. Louis County.
Rick Grebel may have been stricken before his car hit a light pole. His family says he had had a heart attack five years ago.
Grebel was president of KCI Construction Company and was the former head of the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis.
He also founded the Construction Careers Center, a charter school in St. Louis that trains students in building-trade skills. Grebel was 53.
