St. Louis, MO. – St. Louis officials are calling the NCAA Final Four a slam-dunk.
The morning after the championship game members of the event's organizing committee were glowing.
They pointed to record attendance at several events, a lively downtown and perfect weather.
Local Organizing Committee Chair Doug Elgin says he's attended the Final Four since 1980.
"Of all the sites I've been to, of all of the Final Four's I've attended, this is clearly one of the best two or three," Elgin said.
Officials say they believe the event left a good impression with both visitors and the NCAA.
Members of the city's organizing committee say they hope to bring the championship back to St. Louis within the next ten years.
