St. Louis, MO – A St. Louis police officer is expected to recover after he was in a motorcycle accident.
Dave Benenberg was off-duty when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a curb. He was wearing a helmet.
Police Chief Joe Mokwa says Benenberg was talking, but also disoriented.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening. His condition was described as stable.
No one else was involved in the accident.
