Jefferson City, Mo – Missouri Governor Matt Blunt is outlining new state budget cuts.
The $240 million in cuts were originally left to be determined' when Blunt proposed his budget to lawmakers earlier this year. He outlined the plan for those cuts on Thursday.
It includes ending the grandparent foster care program, temporarily closing a state prison, and getting rid of the state's payment to keep Amtrak trains running between St. Louis and Kansas City.
