Springfield, Ill. – Illinois Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka says she's considering a run for governor.
That's after a poll commissioned by Republicans showed her three percentage points behind in a match-up with Governor Rod Blagojevich.
Topinka says she'll decide after the legislative session whether launch a campaign.
She says the poll shows there's great dissatisfaction with the current administration.
Blagojevich campaign spokesman Pete Giangreco says Topinka was Illinois' chief financial officer during the George Ryan administration, which left a $5 billion deficit. He calls Topinka the "first mate on the Titanic."
