St. Louis – For the second time in about a month, police are investigating the hanging of a dog in the St. Louis area.
Police were called this morning to Clydesdale Park in south St. Louis County, after a resident discovered a female boxer hanging by its leash from the top of a playground slide.
The dog was dead when police arrived. Police believe she was intentionally hanged.
Last month, a couple walking their dog in Babler State Park in west St. Louis County discovered a 40-pound husky mix hanging from a tree.
Rewards are being offered in both cases.
