St. Louis, MO – A brother and sister jailed in Missouri as suspects in the slayings of their mother and grandparents are to be returned tonight to Indiana.
Twenty-nine-year-old Kenneth Lee Allen Junior and 18-year-old Kari Ann Allen decided not to fight extradition at a court hearing Thursdayin St. Charles County.
The two were stopped Tuesday for speeding by a St. Charles County sheriff's deputy on Interstate 70 near Wentzville.
Authorities say the siblings confessed that they killed their mother and grandparents and encased the bodies in concrete in the grandparents' basement floor.
A spokesman for the Marion County, Indiana, prosecutor's office says deputies from that county's sheriff department are en route to St. Charles to retrieve the Allens.
