St. Louis, MO. – A trucking facility is moving from St. Louis across the river to Madison County.
The state of Illinois is giving USF Holland two-point-eight million dollars for the new facility in an Edwardsville industrial park.
USF Corporation CEO Thomas Bergmann says the trucking company won't provide many new jobs at first.
"Most of the jobs will come over from the St. Louis terminal so most of the employees will just transfer from St. Louis and then as we continue to grow will add new jobs here," Bergmann said.
Bergmann says USF Holland needed room to grow and Illinois' grant was an incentive to move to the metro East.
