St. Louis, MO – Heating costs for customers of Laclede Gas Company in the St. Louis area will be lower than expected this winter.
The utility's average residential customer will pay about 11% less for natural gas service for the rest of the winter heating season than they would have if current rates had remained in effect.
Laclede officials say the reduction is due to what are expected to be lower natural gas costs the remainder of the season.
