Maryville, Mo. – Hundreds of mourners gathered Tuesday in the northwestern Missouri town of Maryville to bury the young woman who was strangled and whose baby was ripped from her womb.

The crowd at 23-year-old Bobbie Jo Stinnett's funeral was too big for Price Funeral Home, where it was held.

Mourners standing in the entranceway took turns letting one another get closer to the sanctuary to hear what was being said.

Stinnett was found in her Skidmore home on Thursday in a pool of her own blood. She was eight months pregnant but her baby girl had been taken from her stomach.

Thirty-six-year-old Lisa Montgomery of Melvern, Kansas, has been charged with the crime. She's due back in court Thursday.
