St. Louis – The legal proceedings that led to the demise of a Missouri company that made DVD- and computer game-copying software may be over.
Three-Two-One Studios, which had been based in St. Charles, has settled a federal lawsuit brought in June in New York by three makers of video games.
The former company agreed to never again make or sell software letting users create copies of computer games.
The company reached a similar deal in August with Hollywood studios, agreeing to stop selling questioned DVD-copying software worldwide.
