St. Louis – A former employee of Anheuser-Busch could face up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty Tuesday to embezzling nearly $400,000 from the company.
Sentencing is set for March 16th for 44-year-old Suzanne Liszewski. Restitution is mandatory.
U.S. Attorney James Martin says the former human resources specialist, embezzled money over a 14-year-period to pay, among other things, gambling debts.
Vice President for Human Resources Joseph Castellano says in a statement that the incident was an isolated one. He said the brewer cooperated fully with investigating authorities.
