St. Louis, MO – The boyfriend of a St. Louis area woman killed last week along with her three children was arrested Thursday in Kentucky.
The U.S. Marshals Service says 40-year-old Leonard Sheldon Taylor was arrested around midday Thursday.
Police had been watching a home in Madisonville, Kentucky, where a friend of Taylor's lives.
The friend was driving a car with Taylor hiding in the backseat when officers from several departments converged and made the arrest without incident.
Taylor is suspected of killing 28-year-old Angela Rowe, her daughters Alexus and Aqura and son Tyrese.
The girls were ages 10 and 6, and the boy was 5.
All were found dead December 3 in their Jennings home.
Authorities say Taylor has a long criminal record and is wanted for a murder in California.
