St. Louis – The union that represents teachers and other employees at the St. Louis Public Schools has rejected the latest contract offer from the board of education.
The district proposed raising salaries. But union members say management wanted too much in return, including a major hike in health insurance premiums.
The teachers union has not recommended a strike. But they are urging the school board to come back to the bargaining table.
