St. Louis, MO – Union teachers in Alton are scheduled to vote on a new contract today (Tuesday).
They reached an agreement with the school district last week. Neither side is offering any deals on the deal until after the vote.
The union rejected a contract offer last month. They cited a plan to get rid of 50 custodial jobs for their rejection.
