East St. Louis, Ill. – Closing statements will be presented Monday morning at Katie Wolfmeyer's federal trial on murder conspiracy charges in East St. Louis.
FBI agents John and Melanie Jimenez testified this afternoon that John did not threaten Wolfmeyer and that Melanie wrote down exactly what Wolfmeyer told her.
Wolfmeyer says the one agent swore at her and threatened to throw her in jail and the other misrepresented what she knew about the night of the alleged plot.
The 19-year-old Florissant resident is the alleged accomplice of former St. Louis Blues player Mike Danton, who has already pleaded guilty and faces sentencing next month.
Both were accused in an April plot to kill Danton's agent, who was not hurt.
