Terry Gross is used to authors coming to her public radio show Fresh Air when they have a new book out. But now it's Terry's turn.
She hass hosted the program for nearly 30 years. It started as a local show in Philadelphia in the mid '70s before going national in 1987. Her new book is called All I did Was Ask. It is a collection of several dozen interviews from the show.
Terry Gross recently spoke with KWMU's Matt Sepic. She says she had to dig through piles of old tapes to gather material for the book.
