East St. Louis, Ill. – An FBI agent testified at Katie Wolfmeyer's murder conspiracy trial Wednesday that the 19-year-old knew former St. Louis Blues player Mike Danton wanted someone dead.

Agent Melanie Jiminez says she questioned Wolfmeyer on April 16th.

She says Wolfmeyer told her about a phone conversation with Danton the afternoon of April 15th, the day the alleged hit was supposed to happen.

Jiminez says Danton told Wolfmeyer he'd see the guy's body when he returned from a playoff game in California. Jiminez read from a statement she took from Wolfmeyer, saying it clicked in Wolfmeyer's mind that Danton wanted someone dead.

Florissant resident Katie Wolfmeyer is accused of conspiring with Danton in a murder-for-hire plot to kill Danton's agent.

No one was injured. Danton pleaded guilty in July.
