St. Louis – St. Louis police say murder charges have been issued against the five teenage occupants of a stolen SUV involved in a crash that killed the driver of another vehicle.
Police say the youngsters are accused under the juvenile code of second-degree murder, stealing a motor vehicle and tampering. The 16-year-old driver had two 13-year-old passengers, one 12 and one 16.
A St. Louis County man, 25-year-old Gary Alter, died early today when the SUV slammed into his car as he was getting onto Interstate 44 from a Kingshighway.
