Jefferson City, Mo. – Attorney General Jay Nixon says Missouri has received a $900,000 settlement in a case against the maker of a cancer drug.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company has settled with all 50 states on allegations that it blocked the sale of a cheaper generic version of Taxol.
About 300 Missourians received their payments in May. Nixon said state government has now received its share.
Among the largest chunks are nearly $446,000 into a Medicaid fund, and more than $200,000 to University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics.
